Do you remember how difficult it was entering this huge university as a freshman with a disability? Currently three graduate students studying student affairs at MSU are working on attempting to make that transition easier. Their goal is to create resources to help prospective students in their university search process, preparation, and decision-making.
To accomplish this, they need your help! They are interested in interviewing current students with physical or sensory disabilities or chronic illnesses. They would like to hear your stories and discover what you, the students, believe are important when selecting a school. In addition, they would like to know what challenges you have faced thus far and what you have found helpful in dealing with those challenges. Based on the interviews, they will be compiling a documentary and publishing a journal article.
