What is your favorite quote?
If you’re wondering about my favorite quote, it’s this hidden gem: ‘Who will move beyond expectations? Spartans will.’ I don’t know who said it, but it’s a wall quote in the RCPD conference room, aka the grand hall. It motivates me and makes me feel like we can conquer anything!

Before working at MSU, what was the most unusual or interesting job you had?
I worked at a flower shop. My job was to clean flowers and arrange bouquets. It was interesting because, believe it or not, I've never been a big fan of flowers. But I enjoyed chatting with customers who were happy, getting ready to gift flowers for special occasions. And every so often, my boss would give me some flowers for free, though I didn’t know what to do with them.

Name a hidden talent, or one unknown fact about you.
During my undergraduate years, before the pandemic, I had the amazing opportunity to participate in an exchange program in Portugal. It was a time of exploration and growth, where I not only had the chance to immerse myself in Portugal but also to travel across Europe. Meeting friends from different cultural backgrounds during that time was truly invaluable.
