The ELA Foundation will award one or two scholarships worth $2,000 each to female graduate students with disabilities. The candidate must be enrolled in a graduate program in an accredited college or university in the United States and are studying, researching and writing on disability policy. The deadline for application for the ELA Foundation scholarship is May 28, 1999.
NIKE is sponsoring one $2,500 scholarship to an undergraduate student with a disability enrolled in an degree program that focuses on sports or recreation management, marketing, medicine or retailing sports or recreation equipment. The award money is contingent upon the winner's acceptance to, or continuation in, an accredited college or university business-related undergraduate degree program in the United States. The deadline for the NIKE scholarship is May 10, 1999.
The purpose of the Nordstrom Scholarship 1999 is to provide supplemental financial assistance to undergraduate students with disabilities enrolled in a business degree undergraduate program at a four-year accredited college or university in the United States. Nordstrom will sponsor five $2,000 scholarships and the application deadline is May 10, 1999. Interested students should contact their specialist for more detailed information and an application to any of the three scholarships.
