The 1998 OPHS Awards Reception will be held Friday, May 1 in Bessey Hall. Nominees for student and faculty awards are due April 3. Students may nominate themselves for any of the numerous scholarships given by OPHS. Five graduate scholarships of at least $1,000 each are available to MSU undergrads seeking graduate work, or current grad students continuing their studies.
All graduating students will be honored for their accomplishments at the ceremony, as will those who have shown exemplary leadership and community service.
Nominees are also being taken for faculty and staff who have shown an outstanding commitment to people with disabilities.
In addition to the awards, a special dedication will take place that same day honoring the late OPHS director, Judy Gentile. Some of you may have noticed the construction outside our offices. The atrium area just west of OPHS has been renovated and will be dedicated in Judy's honor immediately preceding the awards ceremony.
