RCPD seeks candidates for new technology position
RCPD's commitment to high-quality and cutting-edge technology for persons with disabilities has never been stronger. As RCPD Director Mike Hudson and the rest of the faculty members look to the future and plan for tremendous growth in the use of information technologies, they are searching for candidates to fill a new technology-related position.
The new Information Technologist I specialist will serve as the departmental technology coordinator and data manager, and the ideal candidate should have:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems or related field
- Two to three years of related and progressively more responsible or expansive work experience in Web application development of client/server systems including relational databases such as MS Access/SQL-Server
- Experience in Web application development using Active Server Pages or equivalent
- Experience in MS Windows 2000 network management, MS Office application management, system security/backup, and programming languages such as MS Visual Basic or C++
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
