OPHS is currently taking nominees for its annual spring awards reception.
Students may nominate themselves for scholarships by contacting their specialist for application information. Students may nominate faculty or staff members for outstanding commitments to students with disabilities.
There are five OPHS graduate scholarships in amounts of at least $1,000. For applications for the Friendship Memorial Scholarship, contact Marta Belsky, OPHS's Deaf and Hard of Hearing specialist.
Another annual scholarship is available to an MSU student who has cystic fibrosis. The $400 award, given in memory of Anita Giampalmi. Val Nilson, OPHS Learning Disabilities Specialist, has nomination forms.
Scholarships and awards will be presented to students as well as faculty and staff members at the event. All graduating students will be recognized at the event, as well as students who display outstanding leadership and community involvement.
